Founded in ****, Milford manages over $30B in funds on behalf of clients throughout New Zealand and Australia.Opportunity – Senior Performance & Risk AnalystThis 12-month fixed-term role covers a maternity leave for a senior analyst.
You will deliver high-quality performance and risk analytics to support governance-level decision making and product strategy.Key AccountabilitiesContribute to timely and effective delivery of key projects.Develop, improve and automate high-quality reporting and insights using Bloomberg PORT WS, Excel, Python, Power Automate and PowerBI.Review and validate investment-related data, reports and disclosure documents to ensure alignment with regulatory standards and Milford's compliance responsibilities.Provide strategic input and cross-functional collaboration, acting as subject matter expert on performance and risk analytics.Contribute to papers, analytics and content to support governance-level investment strategy decisions and present to governance forums as required.Mentor and support junior team members, fostering knowledge sharing and capability development within the team.Your profileWe're targeting an exceptional individual with a strong mix of technical capability, analytical thinking, and communication skills.Key Experience IncludesWell-developed quantitative and technical skills, with the ability to interpret and apply complex data.A solid understanding of investment return and risk concepts, and the associated analytical frameworks.Strong lateral thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a continuous improvement mindset.Proven communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.ContactPlease contact Daniel Turner on ************** or ******, or apply via the link below.MetadataSeniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Finance and SalesIndustries: Staffing and Recruiting
