About the Role
We have the opportunity available to join the National Public Health Service (NPHS) Business Services Directorate as a Senior Performance Advisor.
This is a permanent full-time role.
In this role you will provide senior expertise across the national performance function for the National Public Health Service.
This involves supporting the Team Lead Planning and Performance to deliver performance products and reporting aligned to NPHS's strategic goals.
The Senior Advisor will bring extensive experience in public accountability and performance reporting, and excellent written communication skills.
They will lead and continuously improve performance reporting processes, production of qualitative and quantitative performance monitoring and reporting products and provide high quality performance advice to senior leaders.

About you
As a Senior Advisor, you are confident working in a fast-paced environment and getting ‘stuck in' with a range of work.
You have the ability to draw on relevant longer-term experience specific to the job and work demands.
You have proven experience in an advisory role, applying critical thinking and using sound judgement to develop options and provide advice.
* A relevant graduate or post-graduate qualification
* Health experience is desirable
* Significant experience in an advisory role to senior leaders
* Significant experience in public accountability and performance reporting
* Experience in using analytical tools to support production of high-quality technical advice and analysis
* Experience in performance management framework development is preferred
* Experience in statutory accountability and Treasury Budget processes is preferred
* Ability to analyse technical content to write high quality papers
