Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist looking to make a real impact on the lives of children and their whaanau?
We are seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to join our Kidz First Child Development team, providing specialist clinical expertise and leadership in a collaborative, supportive environment.
As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will:
* Deliver high-quality, evidence-based Occupational Therapy interventions for children with developmental difficulties or disabilities * Work closely with families, taking a whaanau-centered approach to therapy * Manage complex cases with advanced clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills * Provide mentorship and clinical leadership within the team * Support service development and quality improvement initiatives * Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care * Participate in ongoing professional development and research activities * Accreditations for wheeled mobility, specialised equipment and housing modificationsWhat Were Looking For:
* Registered Occupational Therapist with a current Annual Practicing Certificate * Minimum of 5 years experience in paediatric Occupational Therapy or related settings * Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills for managing complex cases * Experience in clinical supervision, mentoring, and team leadership * High standard of communication skills with colleagues and whanau * Knowledge of best practices, service development, and interdisciplinary collaboration * Commitment to equity, innovation, and delivering high-quality healthcare * Full, clean drivers licenceWhat's in it for you?
