Job Description
As our Senior Dental Assistant, you'll play a pivotal part in ensuring exceptional patient experiences and efficient clinical operations.
Your key responsibilities will include
Providing advanced chairside support across a range of general dental procedures
Leading sterilisation and infection control processes to the highest standards
Managing clinical stock, supplies, and equipment to keep the practice running seamlessly
Mentoring and supporting junior Dental Assistants to help them thrive
Confidently using Exact software for scheduling, charting, and patient records
Assisting with reception and administrative duties when required
Qualifications
2–3 years' experience as a Dental Assistant (senior or leadership experience an advantage)
NZDA certification (highly regarded)
Strong organisation skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure
A patient-first mindset and excellent communication skills
Confidence with dental software and digital systems (Exact preferred)
A reliable, proactive, and professional approachA friendly, positive, and team-oriented attitude that brings out the best in others
