The Opportunity:
They are wanting to grow their Penrose based Internal Sales team and are seeking a technically/engineering minded Internal Account Manager
This is a pivotal position where you will be responsible for building lasting relationships with the company’s clients.
On a daily basis, you will be managing inbound sales enquiries, giving technical advice, finding solutions to problems, preparing quotations, and proactively growing sales with both existing and new customers.
The Role in more detail:
Manage the inbound sales function for existing customers , ensuring great service. Consult with customers to understand their specific needs.
Provide solutions that will best service these needs.
Problem solve, trouble shoot and assist customers with any issues. Manage quotes, ensuring prompt generation and proactive follow up. Fulfilment of all sales administration, invoicing, and other record keeping.
Further build customer relationships by proactive, outbound customer calls.
Identify and progress sales leads from new customer enquiry.
Convert new business sales opportunities. Collaborate with key account managers, escalating complex sales enquiries to achieve common team goals. Act as conduit between Customers, Workshop, Customer Care and Accounts Departments Use the company’s CRM to capture and manage new and existing business activity. Actively grow own product knowledge and where the solution can be applied in common industry segments.
About You:
A minimum of 2+ years’ exp in Internal Sales / Customer Care, within a manufacturing, engineering, building, mechanical or similar environment Very customer oriented.
Great listening skills to be able to determine customer’s needs. Consultative communication, offering the right solutions to meet customers’ needs. Listens and asks questions.
Keen to learn and expand knowledge base. Good admin skills – MS Suite skills, including confident Excel. Good systems experience, with SAP, or a similar ERP a bonus. Accuracy, attention to detail.
