We're looking for a commercially savvy leader to drive product success, influence funding strategies, and collaborate across teams to ensure seamless product availability and compliance.
How you'll spend your day
As our Senior Commercial Manager, you'll be at the heart of our product strategy—leading initiatives that make a real impact on patients and healthcare professionals.
Your day-to-day will include:
Driving Brand Performance: Monitor ROI and optimize marketing initiatives for maximum impact
Forecasting Sales: Build and maintain accurate forecasts for generic products, factoring in market trends and competitor activity
Managing Product Changes: Oversee pricing updates and in-market adjustments
Strategic Planning: Partner with the Head of Commercial Operations NZ to develop funding submissions and commercialization strategies
Ensuring Product Continuity: Work closely with supply chain and regulatory teams to maintain product availability
Business Planning: Contribute to budgeting and strategic planning processes
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with local and international colleagues to align goals and drive results
Engaging Healthcare Professionals: Design and deliver impactful communication programs to support the use of complex generics
Creating Educational Tools: Develop guides, samples, and videos to support product understanding and usage
Maintaining Compliance: Ensure adherence to Medsafe and other regulatory standards
Your experience and qualifications
5+ years' experience in commercial, brand or product marketing in the pharmaceutical industry in New Zealand
Tertiary degree in science, business or a related discipline
Essential Skills and Abilities:
Exceptional interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and HCPs
Ability to craft and deliver tailored communication and educational programs for complex generics
Strong analytical and financial acumen to support data-driven decision-making
Proficiency in Excel, forecasting tools, and the full MS Office suite
In-depth knowledge of the New Zealand generic pharmaceutical market
