Our client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join their dynamic team.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to meaningful outcomes and improve data services that support staff and ensure quality data and reporting for New Zealanders.
Working across projects and programmes aimed at improving outcomes for all New Zealanders, in a flexible work environment with family-friendly hours.
The role offers a competitive salary range of $110,000 to $130,000.
What you'll do:
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be instrumental in enhancing our client's information/data services.
You will be involved in various projects and programmes designed to improve outcomes for all New Zealanders.
Your role within the Enterprise Portfolio Office will see you working on specific projects alongside the Senior Project Manager and wider Business Analyst community.
Your responsibilities will include managing requirements gathering, dependency analysis, design validation, interdependency management and benefits management.
You will also need strong stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively with business partners such as Tech services, procurement, Finance, business stakeholders and other project teams.
Play a key part in improving information/data services and processes
Work on projects and programmes that aim to improve outcomes for all New Zealanders
Be part of the Enterprise Portfolio Office assigned to a specific project
Work closely with the Senior Project Manager as part of the project team
Manage requirements gathering, dependency analysis, design validation, interdependency management and benefits management
Collaborate with business partners such as Tech services, procurement, Finance, business stakeholders and other project teams
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Business Analyst role brings a wealth of experience from a similar role within a complex, large-scale programme environment.
With at least four years' experience under your belt - ideally seven or more - you are adept at taking an outcome-centric approach to problem analysis and solving.
Your excellent self-management skills allow you to thrive both independently and as part of a cross-functional team within a Project Delivery environment.
Your excellent analysis and information presentation skills are matched by your superb verbal and written communication abilities.
You have proven leadership experience, particularly in building productive relationships and facilitating conflict resolution.
Your agile thinking and working style allow you to comfortably operate in both non-structured and structured environments.
Finally, you possess the relevant qualifications and/or experience in information and communications technology.
Minimum four years' experience working as a business/technical analyst or similar role in complex, large scale programme environment - 7+ years' experience ideal.
Experience in taking an outcome centric approach to analysis of problems and problem solving.
Experience at self-management and being a team player in a Project Delivery environment.
Excellent analysis and information presentation skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Proven leadership experience in building productive relationships, facilitating conflict resolution.
Agility in thinking and working, comfortable working in both a non-structured and structured way.
The relevant qualifications and/or relevant experience in information and communications technology.
