Overview
What you will be doing
As our Senior Business Analyst, you will be joining a high-performing Digital Delivery team.
This strategic role is responsible for leading business analysis to support the development and implementation of digital solutions at Auckland Airport.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to transformative, high-impact projects that shape the company's digital landscape.
You will be responsible for analysis on projects of complexity and strategic significance and will be integral in aligning cybersecurity and enterprise initiatives with business priorities.
Your key responsibilities are:
Lead the elicitation, documentation, and prioritisation of business requirements for high-impact digital projects across multiple domains
Conduct in-depth analysis of existing business processes and solutions, identifying opportunities for transformation and efficiency
Act as a key liaison between AKL and supplier teams, fostering effective collaboration, communication and understanding
Support decision-making with data-driven recommendations and performance metrics
Support the change management team in the development of content and, delivery of changes
Support test team planning, preparation and execution
Support the creation and enhancement of policies, procedures and standards
Support and contribute to thought leadership in the delivery of our strategic digital roadmap.
Qualifications
What you'll bring to the role

To ensure your success in this role, you will need:
5+ years of experience in business analysis, with a strong focus on digital transformation initiatives
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or similar
Extensive knowledge of digital technologies, platforms, and trends
In depth experience of business process modelling and workflow analysis
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
Confident meeting and workshop facilitation skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic and continuous improvement mindset
To be a resourceful self-starter who is well prepared to support sourcing and delivery of solutions in new areas of technology
Exposure or working knowledge of NIST, CIS, ISO ***** and the Privacy Act to align appropriate controls to security programme initiatives
Experience working with external vendors in both sourcing and delivery of change
Knowledge and ideally experience of the development of RFx market submissions and RFx vendor evaluation and scoring
Experience working with Digital Operations teams and knowledge of ITIL service methodologies.
