This role could be based in our Auckland or Manila office.
This is a critical position in EROAD's business and requires a person with a proven track record of defining, implementing and scaling modern BA practices across complex, cross-functional environments.ResponsibilitiesOwn and lead the Business Analyst function across strategic programs and initiativesDefine and roll out best-practice BA frameworks, tools, and methodologies across the organizationLead the end-to-end requirements lifecycle, from discovery and documentation to validation and deliveryChampion process optimization, identifying inefficiencies and driving continuous improvementProvide mentorship and leadership to other BAs and cross-functional teamsWork closely with stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document business requirements and processes associated with planned projectsMap and assess existing workflows; identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvementCollaborate with administrators, developers, and data analysts to translate business needs into functional and technical specificationsServe as the main point of contact between business teams and technical leads, facilitating clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle as requiredDevelop and execute user acceptance testing (UAT) plans, ensuring solutions meet business requirements and are ready for productionSupport training, change management, and adoption activitiesCreate and maintain detailed documentation including business requirements, process maps, user stories, and training materialsHelp coordinate project activities, track progress, and report status to project managers and leadershipEffectively lead and manage direct reports as requiredLead and work within SAFe / Agile frameworksSkills And ExperienceMinimum of 7+ years' senior business analytics experienceDemonstrated ability to establish and lead BA practices within a growing organizationExceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skillsExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to facilitate workshops and meetingsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience mapping and improving business processesDeep understanding of ERP and CRM capabilities, data structures, and workflow tools (Salesforce and Microsoft D365 experience preferable)Expert knowledge of Agile or similar project delivery methodologiesFamiliar with using Jira and standard AI tools / softwareExpert in requirements gathering, documentation, and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT)High attention to detailStrong organizational and communication skillsBusiness requirements gathering and workshop facilitationTransportation industry experience would be a plus – not essentialExperienced working with technical, complex productsUniversity degree required, formal Business Analysis training certifications preferredWhy You'll Love Working At EROADEROAD is a true Kiwi success story in the tech sector.
