Te Whiwhinga mahi - The Opportunity - Senior Asset Information Analyst


As a Senior Asset Information Analyst, you will champion the use of asset information systems and best practice principles to support to support AT's integrated Asset Management Systems.

You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and wider AT Business to initiate, develop and continually improve the management and quality of asset data.


Key Tasks will include:


  • Use Asset Management Information Systems to deliver AT's asset information requirements.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for asset data process improvements.
  • Provide asset information analysis and asset management optimisation reporting to support asset lifecycle management and process improvement.
  • Champion the use of Asset Management tools and act as subject matter expert on asset information processes and requirements, ensuring alignment with asset standards, ISOs and IIMM frameworks to support continuous improvement and contribute towards Asset Management Maturity initiatives.
  • Manage and lead the system development, documentation and maintenance of new asset data tables and promote their use across AT.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to improve the utilisation and understanding of asset information for Auckland Transport.

  • Degree in engineering, systems, database, business or other similar equivalent fields, or relevant proven experience
  • At least 5 years relevant work experience in a large or technical organisation on data and database management experience
  • Proven experience interpreting, analysing, and reporting on asset data quality.
  • Extensive knowledge of asset management information systems and their relevance to an effective asset management lifecycle
  • A good understanding of the works and processes of local government, including current and future business drivers and statutory requirements
