About the role - Kōrero mō te tūranga
Our Platforms and Applications Team are looking for an applications engineer to join the team on a backfill secondment through until the end of February 7.
The successful candidate will be responsible for several of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade business enterprise applications.
There is a specific focus on supporting MS Teams environments, managing federation, chat & channels, and teams meeting room technology.
Additionally, this role will be a key supporter of our SharePoint on-premise farms and have an opportunity to support the BAU aspects of a project to migrate from SharePoint on-premise to SharePoint Online.
Although these are the main technologies you will be working on there is plenty of scope to work with other technologies such as Exchange Online and other M productivity apps.
These business critical services are fully supported by our Platforms and Applications Team.
The Ministry's M products consist of a suite of a key business tools which provide a medium that our staff use to ultimately deliver outcomes for New Zealand.
