This is a chance to work on meaningful tech that powers thousands of transactions daily and directly supports our store teams.You'll join a cross-functional team focused on designing and building mobile applications using Kotlin Multiplatform and Jetpack Compose.
You'll collaborate with UX designers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver clean, scalable solutions that integrate with our wider retail systems.
The work is hands-on, iterative, and grounded in solving real problems.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop high-quality native Android applicationsCollaborate with UX designers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver new featuresContribute to architectural decisions and technical strategyMaintain and improve existing applicationsChampion best practices in testing, CI/CD, and documentationQualifications5+ years of Android development experienceStrong proficiency in Kotlin and Jetpack ComposeExperience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) and app migrationSolid understanding of mobile architecture, design patterns (MVVM, etc.), and testing frameworksSQL and API integration skillsFamiliarity with agile delivery and DevOps practicesBonus: cross-platform experience (iOS) and a collaborative mindsetBenefitsThis is a chance to work on meaningful tech that's used daily in stores across New Zealand.
