SENIOR ADVISOR GM OFFICE – ALL OF GOVERNMENT SERVICES DELIVERY GROUP

Mō tēnei tūranga | About this role
We have a newly created opportunity for a Senior Advisor to join our All of Government Services Delivery Group (AoGSD), who are responsible for a broad portfolio of All of government digital products and ICT services.
The Senior Advisor will work closely with the Principal Advisor to the GM, to provide strategic advice and guidance to AoGSD, senior leaders, and the Minister.
This includes formulating and providing robust advice that intersects across the wider Branch and multiple agencies.
You will play an integral part in preparing advice and guidance for our Work Programme, and you'll have a role to build trust and confidence in the effective responses formed by AoGSD.
Responsibilities will include:
* Help coordinate, develop and implement a range of strategies and initiatives to bring together experience and knowledge across government agencies and partners, to inform and provide advice.
* Provide comprehensive expertise, advice and support to the Group, Branch and inter-agency stakeholders across strategy development, stakeholder analysis, risks and issues management.
* Work with the Principal Advisor to lead and coordinate strategic planning and provide input and guidance in the drafting of high-quality communications including reports, briefings and presentations.
* Collaborate with the wider group to liaise and coordinate performance reporting and analysis so there is strong effective team accountability.
* Help identify business improvements, identify challenges, and provide input into thought leadership and critical thinking.
* Coordinate and lead advice, ensuring effective cross-functional collaboration and timely decision making.
Salary band is from $111,458 to $138,704.
This appointment will be made dependent on relevant skills and experience to the role.

* Ability to drive a consistent and coordinated approach to stakeholder engagement with a strong understanding of inter-agency processes.
* Sound conceptual and analytical skills with the ability to analyse complex policy and programme issues to provide credible advice.
* Strategic thinking, and analytical skills, with a pragmatic solution focused approach to all your dealings.
