OverviewSecretarial Support, Nelson Hospital, Fixed Term FulltimeYou will enjoy the satisfaction of fulfilling an important role within the hospital, assisting with managing patients from initial specialist appointment, through the hospital service and back into the community.Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.About the RoleAs a Secretarial Support, you will provide secretarial and administrative support to our consultants and clinical teams.
This will include the typing of medical documents, patient correspondence and managing appointments.
You will look after file management, patient record keeping and ensure the efficient and accurate processing of documentation.This position requires excellent attention to detail to maintain accurate data management of our patient information care system and transcribing of medical documents.This is a full-time fixed term parental leave cover for 12 months, working 80 hours a fortnight (1.0 FTE).
Hours of work will be Monday to Friday between 8.00 AM and 6.00 PM.About the Team/Service/LocationOur Clinical Support Services team plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the patient's journey.
By providing essential administrative support, we enable clinical teams to focus on delivering exceptional patient care.
