Your role has an operational focus, primarily making tangible improvements to the public transport network in the near-term (0-18) months.
You will also contribute longer-term deliverables such as strategic business cases.
You'll use data, software, and community feedback to create reliable, customer-focused services that support strategic outcomes and encourage patronage growth.
You'll develop an understanding of bus operations and overlay these considerations in network planning and optimisation.Key responsibilities include:Designing, scheduling and optimising public transport routes and timetablesAnalysing network performance and recommending improvementsCollaborating with internal teams, operators, and stakeholdersSupporting technology integration and real-time information systemsEngaging with communities to ensure services meet their needsMou ¦ About YouYou're a skilled planner / scheduler with a passion for public transport and community outcomes.
