As our Salesforce Software Engineer, you'll play a vital role at ASB.

We are looking for an individual that will be central to continually improving and enhancing the Salesforce platform for our organization.

Our Salesforce instance is of great importance to us; therefore, you should keep the wider organization's best interests in mind composing and deploying any code.

You will work as part of our team to collaborate on specifications based on stakeholder requirements, validate the proposals, and deliver the solutions.

This role comes with the potential to grow and manage your career over time.

You'll be part of a team at the forefront of working to deliver and support a secure, functional and performant ecosystem to our customers.

We are looking for a mix of technical skills to support the following activities:

  • Collaborating with Squad members to validate business requirements and any considerations (security, scalability, limits),
  • Enhance our nCino implementation built on the Salesforce Platform
  • Configure our instance of Salesforce using your extensive Salesforce Admin skills
  • Best Practices: Adhere to Salesforce best practices, maintain code documentation, and write / maintain test classes for all custom development,
  • Take ownership of release cycles to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code,
  • Collaborating with IT / Developers for other systems in order to integrate across the business,
  • All aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, sharing rules
  • Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards and reports
  • Sandbox environment management
  • Identify unused or underutilised platform features
  • Proactive system maintenance including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, and Optimizer

    We are looking for an individual that will take ownership of our technical solutions, drive continuous change for the squad and customers to ensure we are delivering best possible outcomes.

    You will work collaboratively with our squads and stakeholders to be the voice of engineering and deliver products that delight our customers.

    We are looking for someone who has

  • A proactive attitude to Salesforce enhancements and bringing existing code into best practices,
  • Soft skills: the ability to gather requirements and present solutions to stakeholders.
  • Strong Salesforce product knowledge and at least 2+ years' of Salesforce Administration hands-on experience
  • Trailhead Badges/Super Badges
  • Certified Salesforce Administrator
  • Additional Salesforce certifications e.g. Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder
  • Active in the Salesforce community.
  • Demonstrates continued personal/professional development
