Ideal for new graduates.This role offers structured rotations, education, and mentorship from senior therapists to build your confidence and expertise.

We are also open to fixed placements for experienced clinicians who prefer to focus on specific areas.**Salary range**$77,087 to $107,600 per annum (pro rata), aligned with the Allied, Public Health, Scientific and Technical Collective Agreement and based on your experience and qualifications.Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.**About the role**As a physiotherapist at Southland Hospital, you'll deliver assessments and interventions across a variety of clinical areas, working within an interdisciplinary team.**Rotations are typically six-monthly and may include the following:*** Acute wards (medical, surgical, orthopaedics, paediatrics, critical care, maternity, and ED)* Rehabilitation (AT&R)* Community services* General outpatients, including group programmesThis role includes participation in weekend and on-call rosters once orientated and competencies are met.Our Southland team is small enough to foster close working relationships and a supportive culture, yet large enough to offer a wide range of clinical experiences.

Southland Hospital is a modern, secondary-level facility with access to senior clinical support and strong connections across the Southern district.
