Robotics Deployment & Support Engineer



Job description

Overview

We are seeking Robotics Deployment & Support Engineers to join our team in delivering and maintaining robotic systems.

This role focuses on the hands-on deployment, setup, calibration, and ongoing technical support of our mobile robots at customer sites and during pilot deployments.

You will also be responsible for customer training, system testing, and relaying field insights to our engineering team to ensure product reliability and user satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive functional testing and validation
  • Deploy, configure, and calibrate mobile robotic systems at customer sites
  • Prepare client-facing documentation, including user manuals and training materials
  • Train customers on robot operation, basic troubleshooting, and routine maintenance
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting throughout development and deployment phases
  • Monitor deployed systems and respond to abnormal behaviors or technical incidents
  • Collaborate with software and hardware engineers to configure and troubleshoot systems, diagnose and resolve hardware and software integration issues, and collect and communicate field feedback to engineering and product teams to inform future improvements

Requirements

  • Diploma (with minimum 2 year working experience) or Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
  • Familiarity with the Robot Operating System (ROS/ROS2) and its ecosystem
  • Ability to understand and edit ROS launch/configuration files and basic scripts
  • Hands-on experience with robot calibration, sensor testing, and system validation
  • Working knowledge of mobile robotic platforms, manipulators, and associated peripherals
  • Comfortable working in diverse environments, including industrial and outdoor field sites
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a client-focused mindset
  • Willingness to travel for on-site deployments and customer support (regional and occasional international)
