Overview

Resource teacher: learning and behaviour (LTR).

Part time, Fixed term, FTTE up to: 0.9. Start Date: 02/02/2026, End Date: 11/12/2026 (Covering a studying RTLB).

Area / composite (Years 1–15), Resource teacher.

English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Māori, The arts.

MU and SDA.

Long-term reliever (1.0 FTTE): 12 months

Hei Huruhuru, RTLB Cluster 1 7 are seeking a qualified RTLB or a highly skilled and experienced teacher with more than FIVE years of New Zealand teaching experience (in either primary or secondary schools) .

The applicant must be willing to travel (itinerant position) and to work in a team environment.

Having leadership experience to support teachers dealing with diverse learning needs would be beneficial.

Being bilingual (Māori and English) would also be advantageous, considering Cluster 17 has several Kura and bilingual units.

The incumbent needs a full driver’s licence, and the start date is 02 February 2026 .

The role requires the incumbent to work in the Te Awamutu area.
