Our eCommerce team work with stores to manage all aspects of online shopping, from the website to order fulfilment, including both pickup and delivery services.

The team collaborate with stores to grow their eCommerce business and increase market share, plus, provide an exceptional customer experience through team training and support.
 
Te Tūranga – About the role
As a Regional eCommerce Advisor, you’ll drive growth and enhance performance across approximately 30 stores within a defined territory.

 This role focuses on coaching, data-driven decision-making, and implementing best practices to elevate store capability and customer experience.

Working closely with Store Owners, Managers, and Online teams, you’ll support fulfilment operations, align with strategic initiatives, and help deliver consistently excellent outcomes for our online customers.
 
To achieve this, some of what you’ll be responsible for is:
·       Drive fulfilment performance through targeted coaching in key areas such as pick efficiency, accuracy, reduction of out-of-stocks, and improvement in Good Order Scores.
·       Influence and drive change by leveraging strong relationships, emotional intelligence, and subject matter expertise to gain buy-in and inspire action.
·       Translate regional and store-level performance data into actionable insights that drive meaningful improvement in fulfilment quality, efficiency, and customer experience.
·       Support the rollout and embedding of new initiatives, tools, and pilots, ensuring stores are set up for success and feedback is captured to inform national scale-up.
·       Partner with stores across New World, PAK’nSAVE, and 4 Square to drive alignment with eCommerce strategies.
 
This is a dynamic, field-based role involving regular travel across a defined territory, with a strong in-store presence to coach and support teams.

You’ll typically visit around 12 stores per week (3 per day, 4 days a week), with flexibility required to support early morning operations, peak trading periods, and occasional after-hours engagements.

A full, clean driver’s licence is also essential for travel within the region.

You’ll have proven experience in large-format retail, operations, or multi-site leadership, with an understanding of the commercial and operational drivers in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll bring strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data into actionable insights that support strategic and operational decisions.
 
You’ll also:
·       Have strong coaching and influencing capabilities, with experience partnering across store teams, owner operators and support functions.

·       Have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to various audiences.

·       Be collaborative and solutions-focused, with a history of driving improvement through practical action.

·       Have a solid understanding of eCommerce fulfilment and in-store operations, particularly within the online grocery space.
