As a privately-owned company, we are focused on providing patients and partners something that no-one else can; capability and connections across Aotearoa, supported by some of the world's leading-edge radiologists and equipment.About the roleWe have a great opportunity for a permanent full-time Receptionist/Administrator to join our team in beautiful Nelson providing both reception and administrative tasks.
You will become an integral part of a front-line team that provides outstanding customer service to our patients.
The role can be demanding and requires a keen eye for detail, exceptional interpersonal skills, strong commitment to quality and the ability to multi-task.Your work day will look like:Schedule and confirm imaging appointments (by phone, online or face to face) and communicate relevant information to the patient, including any preparation requirementsWelcome and direct patients and visitors upon arrival to the clinicIdentify the correct funding pathway and advise the patient of any shortfallComplete general administrative tasks such as typing letters, collating and analysing data and providing general departmental supportLiaise with referring doctors or practitioners regarding patient imaging requirements and maintain accurate records of the patient's medical and personal details in our radiology information systemSome days of the week you will be on the front desk and other days balancing arranging appointments and administrative tasksAbout youThe successful candidate will ideally possess the following skills and experience:High level of computer literacyExcellent interpersonal skills when dealing with the public and working in a team environmentOutstanding time management skills and the ability to work in a precise and accurate manner, particularly under pressureFor this great opportunity, we are looking for someone who can demonstrate our values:PATIENTS are our why.
