Quantity Surveyor to join our team for Te Wai Takamori o Te Awa Kairangi (Te Awa Kairangi).
About the RoleIn this role you will play a key role in managing project costs, contracts, and financial reporting.
You’ll work closely with the commercial and project teams to ensure successful project delivery and strong financial outcomes.
Monitor and report on project financial performancePrepare and manage progress claims and final accountsSupport subcontractor and supplier selection and paymentsNegotiate and document variations and contract instructionsMaintain accurate project documentation and reporting systemsParticipate in project meetings and provide financial insightsWhat you’ll bring to the roleWe’re looking for a commercially savvy QS with strong analytical skills and a collaborative mindset.
Tertiary qualification in Quantity SurveyingMinimum 5 years’ experience in a QS role, preferably in civil engineeringStrong interpersonal and communication skillsProficient in MS Office and financial reporting toolsExcellent time management and organisational skillsAbility to solve problems and align stakeholders to shared goalsAbout Te Awa Kairangi Te Awa Kairangi Alliance is delivering transport, walking and cycling improvements to the SH2 Melling interchange and rail station, as part of a wider flood protection and city revitalisation programme.
Fletcher Construction is working with Alliance partners AECOM, NZTA, Taranaki Whānui and Ngāti Toa Rangatira to deliver this transformative project.
Design is underway and construction is due to commence in late .
