OverviewConstruction & Technical Recruitment (CTR) is proud to be working with a well-established contractor known for delivering high-quality construction solutions across New Zealand.
With a strong reputation in the industry and a healthy pipeline of projects secured well into ****, they're gearing up for a busy and exciting period of growth.
There is now an opportunity for a top end junior or Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
With offices in Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch, you could have the flexibility to choose your base location.About the RoleYou'll be involved in the post-contract phase of projects, managing delivery through to final accounts.
While you'll be expected to work independently, you'll have the support of senior team members when required.
Projects range from commercial to industrial builds, typically valued between $20M and $100M+, providing great variety and technical challenges.ResponsibilitiesManage post-contract activities through to final accounts on assigned projectsCollaborate with project teams to ensure contract requirements and timelines are metIdentify and manage commercial risks and opportunitiesSupport claims and variations processes as requiredQualificationsA relevant construction qualificationMinimum 4–6 years' experience working with a main contractorStrong understanding of construction contractsProven ability to manage claims and variationsExcellent communication skillsConfidence working autonomouslyWillingness to travel within New Zealand as requiredWhy JoinThis role offers a clear pathway for career development.
