We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Quality Inspector
to join our Quality Inspection team.
Reporting to the Quality Inspections Lead, you will ensure quality across all stages of transformer manufacturing — from incoming parts and in-process checks to final product inspections.
You'll play a key role in maintaining high standards, identifying non-conformances, and supporting continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Inspect incoming materials and components to ensure they meet specifications.
Monitor manufacturing processes to verify compliance with engineering and quality standards.
Perform final checks on finished transformers before dispatch.
Identify and report non-conformances, supporting corrective actions.
Maintain accurate quality records for traceability and audits.
Help improve inspection procedures and quality checklists.
Support supplier evaluations, audits, and quality meetings.
Analyse inspection data to drive improvements and root cause investigations.
Qualifications
5+ years in quality control or inspection, ideally in industrial manufacturing
Strong grasp of manufacturing processes and quality standards
Able to read technical drawings and specifications
Skilled with inspection tools and measurement techniques
Detail-oriented with accurate documentation skills
Good communicator and team collaborator
Familiar with root cause analysis and quality reporting
Comfortable using software for quality tracking and documentation
Shows strong accountability, problem-solving skills, and clear communication while working well with others in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in transformer manufacturing or electrical/heavy industry inspection, along with familiarity with IEC/ISO standards and quality practices, is preferred but not essential.
