Job description
We’re looking for a QA Engineer who has a passion for delivering top quality product working side-by-side with Developers and Product Owners bringing the voice of the customer to life, striving to ensure that solutions being developed and delivered are bug-free and working as efficiently as possible.
The QA Engineer will design, develop and execute manual and automation scripts according to Test Plans covering new and existing software and hardware products.
The QA Engineer will work with globally diverse teams across multiple business functions to continually evolve QA tools and processes.
Most importantly, the QA Engineer will strive to achieve zero bug escape and the best possible experience for Teletrac Navman customers.
Responsibilities and Duties:
+ Test and validate software solutions
+ Gain an understanding on how customers will use the product
+ Collaborate with the team to determine product quality and release readiness standards; and develop robust automation scripts
+ Research and analyse the product features being tested
+ Execute Test Plans striving for zero bug escapes
+ Identify and articulate issues to developers
+ Actively participate as a team member in the elaboration of user stories, and associated acceptance criteria
+ Review User Interfaces for consistency and functionality
+ Document test results
+ Present results to the business
+ Interact with technical and non-technical resources
+ Take ownership of issues and drive them to resolution
+ Maintain a deep understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
+ Maintain an astute understanding of the Agile development framework
+ Maintain knowledge of the current trends and latest advancements in software QA

To be successful in this role, YOU will also be equipped with:
+ At least 5+ years of total QA experience (at least 2+ years of automation experience)
+ Degree in a related engineering field (or equivalent)
+ Experience working within Scrum teams following Agile methodology
+ Experience with Android and iOS; debugging mobile applications
+ Ability to automate with tools such as Cypress.

+ Technical proficiencies in JavaScript; Jira, Azure DevOps or similar bug management system; TestRail, Microsoft Test Hub (Test Manager) or similar test management system are highly desirable
+ Self-starter, willing to take ownership & find what is needed to get the job done
+ Confidence to challenge or defend results / outcome / position
+ A lifelong love of learning and picking up new skills
+ Understanding of vehicle electronics is an advantage
