Full Time - $80,000 - $85,000 per year
We are seeking a talented, vibrant and dynamic Purchasing Manager to lead QT Auckland Hotels purchasing, stock and goods control and maintaining storage areas, bringing individuality, creativity and passion into turning the ordinary into extraordinary!

About The Role
An exciting opportunityhas become available for an exceptional senior leader at QT Auckland.
The successful individual must have exceptional leadership, communication, and organization skills and lead with a hands-on approach.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be directly responsible for all beverage purchases which includes the ordering and management of a 200 bin wine list, ordering and maintaining hotel supplies, and maintaining storage areas are kept clean and organized.
Ensure all products purchased are properly stored and that adequate quantities, par levels, for each item are maintained.
Negotiate and maintain professional relationships with suitable suppliers and communicate with suppliers on perished or sub-par delivered products.
We are HACCP certified, checking temperatures of incoming frozen and chilled goods and recording these is a priority.
Responsible to organize and execute monthly stock takes and calculate the cost of sales for both food and beverage products.
Maintain the Beverage COGS tracker with up to date LUC's of all beverage items.
Work closely with Senior teams to maintain cleanliness and functionality of storage areas.

Proven previous experience in a similarrole andproven leadership experience.
Professional and personable, with excellent communication and computer skills and a can-do attitude.
You're pre-equipped with sound decision making and problem-solving skills, especially under pressure.
You will have solid knowledge of wine, spirits and food.
Must have the appropriate legal requirements to work in New Zealand.
