Ngai Tahu Holdings is looking for a warm, detail-oriented, and proactive individual to join our Te Kuru (Business Information Services) team as a Purchasing and Inventory Coordinator.
This part-time role (25 hours per week) is based in Otautahi (Christchurch) and is a key part of ensuring our technology and inventory needs are met smoothly and efficiently across the Ngai Tahu Group.About the Role | Te MahiIn this role, you'll be the go-to person for coordinating the procurement and distribution of technology, managing inventory, and supporting licensing needs.
You'll work closely with our team and vendors to ensure everything runs like clockwork, while also contributing to a culturally confident and safe workplace.Here's what you'll be doing:- Support procurement and distribution of technology fit-for-purpose to kaimahi, representatives, and runanga.
- Manage hardware and software inventory, including Adobe licensing.
- Coordinate device repairs, replacements, and service onboarding/offboarding.
- Maintain accurate asset registers and assist with expense tracking and P-card reconciliation.
- Respond to service requests and liaise with vendors and internal teams.
- Contribute to a culturally confident and safe workplace aligned with Ngai Tahu values.We're looking for a well-organized, tech-savvy multitasker who thrives in a team environment, and a great attitude.
Key skills include:- Procurement & Inventory Management: Experience in purchasing, asset tracking, and vendor coordination.
- Technical Coordination: Ability to configure, commission, and decommission devices and services.
- Administrative Excellence: Skilled in managing documentation, licenses, and service requests.
- Communication: Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with a professional phone manner.
- Digital Proficiency: Someone with great admin and data entry skills who is advanced in Microsoft Word & PowerPoint; intermediate Excel; confident in MS Teams.

- Teamwork & Initiative: A collaborative approach with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
