Property Management Administrator - Fixed Term (6 Months)
Help shape the future of our kindergartens and centres


Ngā Tamariki Pūāwai o Tāmaki | Auckland Kindergarten Association (AKA) has been a leader in Early Childhood Education since 1908.

With 112 kindergartens and KiNZ centres across Tāmaki Makaurau, we are proud of our long history of supporting tamariki, whānau, and communities to thrive.


We are seeking a Property Management Administrator to join our Property Team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.

This role will play a vital part in ensuring our kindergartens and centres continue to provide safe, enriching environments for tamariki by delivering a comprehensive property and asset condition review across all sites.


In this role you will:


  • Conduct systematic condition assessments across all 112 kindergartens and KiNZ centres.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed asset register with condition ratings and supporting evidence.
  • Identify urgent health, safety, or compliance risks and recommend actions.
  • Support the Property Team to develop a prioritised maintenance and capital works programme.
  • Prepare clear and accurate reports to inform future planning and investment decisions.

  • What we are looking for:


  • Demonstrated experience in property, facilities, or asset management.
  • Strong knowledge of building maintenance, compliance, and asset management.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Strong planning, organisational, and data management skills.
  • Someone who can work independently, manage a large workload, and deliver accurate, evidence-based reporting.

  • As this role involves travelling to various Auckland kindergartens, a vehicle will be provided for business use.


    This is a critical project that will directly support our ability to proactively care for our property portfolio and make long-term, evidence-based investment decisions.
