Manage the delivery of construction to selected retrofit projects

The Project Manager - Retrofit is a dedicated resource focused on delivering retrofit or other renewal team projects.
This role is dynamic and comprehensive and will include tasks from the construction phases of selected projects, meaning responsibility and ownership over projects assigned.
This role will include weekly travel to visit sites for scoping, progress monitoring and issue resolution.
This role requires working a mixture of office and site-based work during set hours, Monday to Friday.
Nga pumanawatanga ou - What you will bring Minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience working in a relevant property or construction industry
Project Management qualification, preferably Prince 2 or PMP
Sound experience managing construction projects with the ability to prepare comprehensive and robust project plans which identify project risks and mitigation strategies
Experience with the delivery of high-volume work activities
Excellent written and oral communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate clearly, concisely and in plain language
Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Experience in managing property maintenance or minor capital upgrades
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to foster good stakeholder relationships through consultation and partnership
Demonstrated experience in contract management & negotiation
