**Mo te tunga | About the role**The Infrastructure and Digital Assets (IDA) team have an exciting and transformational plan designed to modernise our infrastructure and technology platform, delivering life changing digital technology for the people we manage and our staff.
We're currently looking for an **IT Project Manager**to join our Corporate Systems team.
This Product family team is responsible for the delivery and maintenance of systems and digital assets used by our staff.As an IT Project Manager with us, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our IT projects align with our values and vision.
Your responsibilities include:* **Project Delivery:** Manage the day-to-day execution of IT projects to ensure solutions meet departmental and stakeholder requirements.
* **Collaboration:** Work closely with the Corporate Systems Owner to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the expected quality standards.
* **Support and Reporting:** Assist the Programme Manager with reporting and governance activities related to the product group.
* **Risk Management:** Maintain and manage the project risk register to reduce exposure and ensure risks are addressed proactively.
* **Transparency:** Provide timely and accurate project updates to relevant forums and stakeholders.
* **Resource Coordination:** Work with internal teams and external vendors to coordinate resources and tasks effectively.
* **Delivery Focus:** Ensure all project activities are aligned to meet time, cost, and quality constraints while fulfilling business needs.This position is full-time and based at our National Office in Wellington.

**Nga pukenga me nga wheako | Skills and experience**You'll have extensive experience and involvement in managing large complex IT projects and/or multiple IT projects having regard to project management disciplines.
In addition, you'll bring:* A proven track record of delivering both large and small-scale projects on time and within budget.
* Experience with ERP solution implementation and support.
* Familiarity with IT procurement and change management processes.
* Strong communication skills, including facilitation of meetings and workshops.
* The ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to build consensus across diverse stakeholders.
**Utu a-tau | Salary**The midpoint of the salary range is $147,765 per annum and the full range (85%-120%) is $125,601 - $177,318 per annum.
