Project Manager – Planned Programmes (Auckland/Wellington)
Ensure Compliance with NZ Building Code (Clauses C1-C6)
Deliver Fire Safety Upgrades to our Supported Housing Portfolio
Permanent role at $113,375 + 5 weeks' annual leave and insurance benefits
As Project Manager - Planned Programmes, you'll work with a variety of stakeholders to contract and deliver Fire System Upgrades in our Supported Housing Portfolio across the country.
Projects often require Fire engineers report, designs and council consent and involve working with external contractors in the market.
You'll use project management principles to ensure your portfolio of projects are delivered on time, to budget and meet all compliance requirements.
Your expertise in property fire safety provisions, refurbishment and prior practical, on the tools experience will ensure that you have the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully manage your portfolio.

Up to date recognised Project Management certification e.g. Prince2
You'll have at least 5 years of proven project management experience gained in the construction or residential property maintenance industries
Demonstrated experience in fire safety provisions from the New Zealand Building Code, particularly Clauses C1-C6, which cover fire prevention, detection, occupant egress, firefighting access, and containment
Experience with reading architectural designs, engineers report and building plans.
Tertiary qualification in Project Management / Engineering or similar and proven project management with a minimum experience of 5 years.
Substantial practical experience working in property maintenance or construction industry
Demonstrated experience in contract management and negotiation
A track record of effective engagement with stakeholders, contractors and colleagues, to ensure priorities are communicated clearly and deadlines are achieved
Desire and resilience to work in a complex and constantly changing environment
Sound understanding of all legislative requirements within the construction industry (NZS****)
