OverviewRole: Project Manager - Covering Northern RegionsSalary: £38,000k - £48,000k + Yearly Bonus + Company CarLocation: Warrington - Travelling and Covering the Northern RegionsFull UK Driving Licence required.
You may be required to travel and possibly stay over night on occasions.You're an experienced Project Manager looking for an opportunity to oversee complex and high-value building projects across Northern Regions.
Reporting directly to the Regional Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing major projects for the Site Accommodation business unit, ensuring works are carried out safely while providing effective programme and cost control at all times.
When not on large-scale projects, assistance will be required on smaller projects.
You will be responsible for managing and overseeing project installations and dismantles, taking direct responsibility for large and complex projects as allocated by the Regional Project Manager, and ensuring compliance with all legislation and codes of practice relating to Health & Safety.ResponsibilitiesOverseeing and ensuring that all Projects are delivered in accordance with all appropriate H&S and CDM regulations and good practiceManage and oversee project installations and dismantles ensuring that you deliver projects within planned costs and agreed timescalesEnsure Project Management resource provides pre-order support to commercial staff to ensure all risks are minimized for post order project deliveryIn conjunction with appropriate commercial staff, assist and implement Project Launch, managing variations, ensuring that the Project Launch process is implemented on all projects undertakenEnsure that suitably detailed Gannt charts or other appropriate projects plans are in place for all projects undertaken within the region and that plans are updated on a regular basis to ensure relevance throughout the projectEnsure that appropriate variation request processes are in place with clients and maintained throughout the course of project deliveryEssential CriteriaProven Project Management experienceExperience managing multi-disciplinary teams on complex/high-value building projectsWorks productively in a high pressure environmentMakes rational judgements from the available information and analysisListens, consults others and communicates proactivelyA full UK Driving licenceProject Management qualification, preferably PMQCSCS Card to MAP LevelBenefits & Opportunities25 days Annual Leave + bank HolidaysOption to buy 5 days of annual leaveWorking flexibly principlesContributory pensionYearly BonusCompany Car, Electric if availableAccess to health and wellbeing services, volunteering day off, and fully funded professional qualificationsGreat opportunity for career progression within Portakabin
