Building a better future.Mott MacDonald's Advisory team is growing, and we're looking for a motivated project manager to join us in Auckland.
This is a great opportunity for someone with 3–7 years of experience in project management or coordination who's ready to take the next step in their career.As part of our Project Strategy and Delivery (PSD) team, you'll play a key role in managing design-led infrastructure projects, while also supporting the commercial and financial performance of those projects.
You'll work alongside a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-impact outcomes across the infrastructure sector.
What You'll Be Doing
Managing the delivery of design-focused infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations, timelines, and budgets
Overseeing and supporting the commercial and financial management of projects, including forecasting, reporting, and contract administration
Collaborating with internal design teams, clients, and contractors to drive project success
Identifying and managing project risks, issues, and opportunities
Contributing to project planning, procurement, and governance activities
Supporting the development of project documentation, including business cases, reports, and presentations
What We're Looking For
3–7 years of experience in project management or project coordination, ideally within a consultancy or engineering environment
A strong understanding of design processes and experience working with multidisciplinary teams
Exposure to commercial and financial aspects of project delivery, including budgeting and reporting
Confident communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders
Organised, proactive, and eager to grow your career in a collaborative, purpose-driven environment
A relevant tertiary qualification in project management, engineering, or a related field
