About the Role
We are currently looking for a Project Manager who will focus on managing the installation aspect of all Atkore products.
What you’ll do
- Responsible for performing, coordinating, and/or overseeing daily project management activities during procurement, design, construction and close‑out phase ensuring adherence to legal compliance and regulations.
- Analyse plans, specifications, proposals and other contract documents to determine the overall project scope and project requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and distribute detailed project schedules.
- Create and track schedules for each project assigned and ensure that the project/s stays on schedule and budget.
- Track budget versus actual for each assigned project, identify trends and propose solutions to ensure more accurate budgeting.
What you’ll bring
- Relevant practical experience and a successful track record in an Engineering, Building trade or Construction management discipline.
- Strong customer service ethic and proven successful experience in leading a trade or installation team.
- Ability to quickly read and understand plans/concepts.
- Ability to work at a good pace without compromising required standards.
Within 3 months, you’ll
- Complete your Atkore immersion program.
- Understand how your job will help deliver Atkore’s strategy.
- Gain an understanding of the install process and projects.
Within 6 months, you’ll
- Have a better understanding of the Projects and Install process and deliveries.
- Build efficiencies in your role.
- Have a solid understanding of the Projects process including management and scheduling of staff.
Within 12 months, you’ll
- Work effectively and efficiently in the Construction team.
- Work autonomously.
- Assist projects when needed.
- Be an OHS Champion.
