Arup is seeking a Project Manager to join its Advisory team in Auckland, New Zealand.
This role involves leading complex projects across sectors such as transport infrastructure, energy, water, and science and industry, while supporting business development.
The successful candidate will bring strong project management expertise, commercial acumen, and a collaborative mindset to deliver high-quality outcomes for clients.
The Opportunity
• Manage and deliver multidisciplinary projects, ensuring scope, time, cost, quality, and risk are effectively controller.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contributing to business development and securing new opportunities.
• Assistant PMs across ANZ, fostering professional growth and team capability.
• Lead or assist in preparing tender submissions and presentations to win new work.
• Prepare comprehensive reports, summarise key issues, and provide strategic advice to clients for optimal project outcomes.

Is this role right for you?
• Tertiary qualification in engineering, project management, architecture, business, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in project management or advisory roles within the consulting sector.
• Professional accreditation (or working towards) such as AiPM, CPPM, Prince2, PMP, or equivalent.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and multidisciplinary teams across various sectors.
• Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills, with a proactive and client-focused approach.
