Our client is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join their Infrastructure Delivery team based in Wellington .

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage project performance, including subcontractor coordination, to ensure delivery meets quality standards and timelines.

  • Oversee project documentation such as contracts, claims, bonds, and supplier agreements.

  • Drive financial efficiency by managing costs, investigating discrepancies, and optimising resource allocation.

  • Develop construction methodologies, budgets, and project programmes.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Support, coach, and mentor junior engineers and team members to enhance technical capability.

  • Promote a Zero Harm culture, ensuring safety, environmental, and quality standards are upheld at all times.

Skills

  • 4+ years of experience as a Site Engineer or higher, ideally within infrastructure or construction projects.

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in engineering ().
