Job description

  • Support projects that deliver modern, quality housing for communities across New Zealand

  • Strong preference for Wellington as work location but also open to other locations

  • Fixed Term until 30 June 2026, at $83,594 (pro rata)

    The Renewals team is part of the Construction & Innovation Group.

    Our contribution to social housing is renovating (retrofitting) selected state houses so they meet the needs of a modern state house customer.

    The team delivers renewals nationally and so our work reaches much of New Zealand.


    In FY2026 we will deliver nearly 500 renovated homes across the country.


    This role is one of three that provides support to the programme and project managers, in areas like:

  • coordinating getting Work Requests and Work Orders prepared

  • monitoring and managing documents within Aconex and Objective

  • tracking PIM applications

  • setting up and maintaining project financials within Oracle

  • project financial tracking and receipting

  • obtaining project budget uplifts as required

  • other duties as required
  • Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu - What you will bring

  • Work experience in the construction field

  • Exposure to project and or contract management

  • Project support experience

  • Experience in a multi-disciplinary team

  • Provide support to a large number of projects

  • Knowledge of project finances, including tracking and payment of claims

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Ability to represent the organisation as a professional team participant
