Due to an increase in service demand we are seeking a Project Coordinator to join the Te Whatu Ora – Te Matau a Māui Hawke’s Bay Infrastructure Projects Team on a permanent basis.
You will be involved in coordinating infrastructure projects and will engage with key stakeholders to understand their requirements and develop the most cost effective and practical solutions within budget while retaining good buy-in.
Implementation of health & safety processes, cultural and sustainable planning will be integrated into work programmes and your expertise will be used to develop the most cost effective and practical solutions.
We are looking for someone with five or more years on the job project work experience in the buildings and services, engineering or similar technical industry.
Ideally you will have project leadership skills, or the desire to develop into a leadership position in our multidiscipline engineering and construction team.
Your qualifications will be based in either Engineering, Architectural and/or Construction diploma level qualifications or equivalent.
Qualifications and/or certification in Project Management would be ideal.
You will be a quick learner with excellent computer skills, including Microsoft AutoDesk products including AutoCAD.
This is an ideal opportunity for an enthusiastic construction project coordinator, looking to develop multi discipline engineering and construction skills and move towards a Project Management role.
