Project Administrator - 12 month Fixed Term ContractWe have an exciting opportunity for a 12-month fixed term contract to cover parental leave for a Project Administrator.
If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy supporting teams where no two days are the same, then we would like to hear from you.About The RoleAs our Project Administrator, you will work closely with our Engineering teams on a day-to-day basis; providing operational, financial, and administrative support.
In this varied role, you'll be the go-to person for setting up new projects, coordinating key documentation, managing project tasks in Trello, and providing essential admin support to keep things running smoothly.
From assisting with billing and preparing reports, to helping organise staff events and keeping the office humming.This is a busy role, so you will be a natural organiser with the ability to easily multi-task and prioritise your team's workload.Responsibilities:Supporting monthly invoicing and internal reporting.Coordinating proposals, tender submissions, and project timelines.Project setup, tracking and management, document preparation and control, filing and assisting with project time frames to meet our client deadlines.Managing team travel bookings and meeting arrangements.Preparing presentations, taking minutes, and handling correspondence.Providing front desk reception and general office support.Assisting with event coordination and office supplies.Collaborating with our wider Administration team across our regional offices.We offerA 12-month fixed term contract to cover parental leave, open to consider part-time school hours, working with a great team, competitive remuneration package, including options for flexible working, and opportunities for professional growth and development.About YouProven administration experience in a similar role supporting a team/s in a busy, fast paced environment.Excellent organisational skills, working to a high standard, with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with the capacity to multitask and adapt as priorities change.Advanced and highly proficient using Microsoft Office Packages - Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint.Experience using time management systems would be an advantage.Have a proactive approach to problem solving, with strong decision-making skills.Enjoy working with and relating to a wide range of people, a strong communicator with the ability to work well within a team.Tertiary qualification in administration or business management would be an advantage.About UsKirk Roberts Consulting is a multi-disciplinary company providing Structural, Geotechnical, Fire, Civil and Environmental Engineering Services; plus Architecture and Engineering Software to a range of clients across New Zealand, from our offices in Christchurch, Queenstown, Auckland, Hamilton, and Tauranga.We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates.To applyPlease send us your latest CV and covering letter, and you are welcome to include any other documents you feel relevant to your application.
