Te Whiwhinga mahi - The Opportunity - Programme Manager- Rail Stations and Infrastructure
The purpose of this role is to oversee development and delivery of a programme of rail stations and infrastructure projects to support planned public transport patronage growth on the Auckland Metro Rail
The scope of this programme is defined at a strategic level by the Rail Programme Business Case.
This broadly consists of the works required to fully utilise the passenger capacity of the City Rail Link and provide greater operational resilience and manage conflicting demands of passenger operations.
Key tasks will include:
Lead and direct project teams to enable planning and delivery of the relevant rail station and infrastructure projects (delivered by AT or Others).Engaging with KiwiRail to review and monitor capital programme activities, risks and opportunities, escalating issues as they arise.Manage relationships with external agencies, balancing priorities to protect ATs position and secure key approvals.Facilitating AT technical SME inputs into project requirements, quality assurance for delivered infrastructure, including review of asset handover documentation, systems testing and commissioning.Reviewing change proposals and assessing impacts on current programme activities.Facilitating operational readiness activities in relation to newly delivered infrastructure.Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?
Relevant Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or equivalent.Desirable will be a Professional accreditation or chartership with a relevant engineering institution e.g. IPENZ or international equivalent.15 years' experience within the transport sector10 years' experience within the rail sector with specific experience of rail strategy, planning and programming5 years' experience in public transport with an operations focusDesirable will be experience of New Zealand Government planning and funding frameworksKo mātou tēnei | Our Organisation
