Programme Manager After School and Holiday ProgrammeAbout the roleKid Station is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to oversee our Before, After School and Holiday Programmes in South Dunedin, Otago.
This part-time role is integral to ensuring we provide high-quality, engaging and enriching care and activities for children at our programme.What you'll be doingPlan and manage the daily operations of our After School and Holiday Programmes, ensuring they run smoothly and meet all regulatory requirementsDevelop and implement engaging activity plans to keep children entertained and stimulatedLead and manage a team of programme staff.Foster strong relationships with parents, schools and the wider communityMaintain accurate records and reporting on programme attendance, incidents and budgetsAssist with the recruitment, training and development of programme staffEnsure the health, safety and well-being of all children in our carePlan and budget for Holiday programmesBe responsible for weekly payroll and staff timetable.What we're looking forMinimum 1 year experience managing after school or holiday programmesStrong computer skills, experience with excel, Word, Google Docs.Strong leadership and people management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesCreative problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feetKnowledge of child protection policies and health & safety regulationsStrong organisational skills and attention to detailA genuine passion for working with children and enriching their livesYou must be available from 3pm to 6pm Monday to Friday and 8 am to 5.30 pm during school Holidays.What we offerAt Kid Station, we're committed to providing a supportive and flexible work environment for our team.
