Toi Ohomai is seeking a dynamic and experienced Programme Lead to manage the effective delivery of our Bachelor of Nursing programme across the Rotorua/Lakes region and nationally.


In this pivotal role, you’ll guide a team of passionate educators, ensure academic excellence, and champion bicultural practice and equity.

You’ll coordinate programme planning, support learner success, and foster strong relationships with iwi, hapū, and health sector partners.

Ngā mahi | Key Responsibilities


• Lead and support teaching staff to deliver high-quality nursing education aligned with regional and institutional needs.


• Provide academic and operational leadership, ensuring programme delivery meets regulatory and quality standards.


• Collaborate with the Academic Lead to identify and develop new opportunities that respond to community and sector needs.


• Ensure accurate and timely programme information is available to students, marketing, and administration teams.

You bring:


• Appropriate qualification - Master’s degree relevant to discipline 


• A relevant teaching qualification 


• Registration and current APC with Nursing Council of New Zealand.


• Understanding of and experience in working within Matauranga Māori;


Specifically, you will be a high performing people and systems person who demonstrates team leadership capability and exemplifies the organisations values and leadership principles.
