We are seeking a Print Production Leader / Supervisor who is truly passionate about the print industry (or signage or similar) and ultimately believes in providing clients with an unequalled level of service!
You will be responsible for ensuring the work is scheduled and completed to a high standard on-spec and on-time.

A highly innovative brand solutions, print production, promo and logistics company who have been around for almost 25 years.
With a wide variety of clients and work, they continue to grow and diversify their offering.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage, direct and lead direct reports (currently six and growing!).
Monitor and book in required training and upskilling for production staff. Implement, plan and confidently communicate the production schedule.
This includes running the morning production meeting. Manage each job through the process.
Ensure all production deadlines are met on-spec and on-time. All Health and Safety training and documentation. Complete all administration and record-keeping pertaining to the production dept. Communicate clearly, confidently and respectfully with all stakeholders! To contribute effectively to the success of the business this is a hands-on role .
You need to have the ability to step-in and perform tasks within production and warehousing when required.
Including operating the Printers, Finishing Equipment and basic Warehousing duties.
(Some of these skills can be trained if you have good mechanical aptitude).
ABOUT YOU
Knowledge and understanding of the print and/or signage industry (3+ years’ experience in a print focused company).
Leadership / Team Supervisory experience is essential.
A team-driven approach where you lead from the front. Experience in Printing would be advantageous (digital ideally), or willingness and aptitude to learn.
An understanding of how things work in a printing plant is essential.
Schedule / demand planning experience in a manufacturing environment / or ability to step up and do this role. Good Workplace Health & Safety knowledge in a production or warehousing environment. A sharp sense of urgency. Initiative and a “can do” attitude. Excellent organization and administration skills with high attention to detail. The ability and confidence to prioritize work and articulate respectfully, clearly and professionally. Able to work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines and time restraints. Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a bustling environment. Good competency with Microsoft Office including working knowledge in Excel or other scheduling software (and able to learn in-house systems quickly). This team really value a great sense of humour! With the ability and enthusiasm required to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment, while staying calm.
REMUNERATION AND BENEFITS
North Shore location (ideal for North Shore or West based candidates).
Excellent salary on offer.
$70k- $80k dependent on experience and skill level. Normal standard Mon-Fri – office hours.
