About the RoleThe Production Coordinator is responsible for co-ordinating processing with sales order requirements and to collate all production data into useful and timely management reports that support decisions to improve productivity and operational effectiveness, ensuring legislative and company policy and procedures are adhered to.

7am- 4pm, with Saturdays 7am to 12pm overtime, as required.
Keeping in mind this role supports production, so some processing overtime may be required.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure Sales and Head Office scheduling requirements are met as per specification and within the required timeframes.Review daily production priorities and production capabilities to ensure that orders are met in order of priorityAt all times checking to ensure the boning room maximise added value to the product by way of compliance with specifications and ensuring product is cut to ordersCosting production queries including advising on best options for new and existing productsCommunicate and organise requirement documentationOrganise daily production requirements in conjunction with your manager and clearly communicate this with your teamCarry out the investigation of plant product claims in conjunction with Site Manager.Assist in the production of daily yield reports by shift and communicate these to the relevant personnel.About YouAbility to work effectively in cross-functional teamsExcellent communicatorDisplay qualities and proactively drive a strong culture that aligns with Silver Fern Farms values – Unstoppable Together, Improving Tomorrow and Always CaringExperience in the food processing industry would be beneficialDemonstrates excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skillsCompetent to an intermediate level in Excel/Word/PowerPointWhy work at Silver Fern Farms?
