This is a key role within our Mitre 10 Ponsonby store – it is about creating a great shopping experience for our customers by ensuring optimum levels of stock in store.
Mitre 10 is at an exciting juncture where we are going to roll out key strategic initiatives to improve how we show up in market, how we work, the way we work and getting work done.This is senior leadership position / Key Holder position, with the ability to really grow your career.
In this position, you will report directly to the Store Manager, working within the Operational team.
Whilst not the primary focus, as a key holder position, there will be rostered duty support days, across the rostered week, for this role.
This is a full-time position, offering 40 hours per week.You will be responsible for:Utilize SAP systems to manage stock from a procurement focus, through to POSWorking with leadership heads, identifying stock levels solutions and rangingForming relationships with suppliers to ensure timely positive outcomes on stock opportunitiesMaximize the integrity of physical and computerized inventory recordsLead and work with a small team, to ensure the fundamentals of stock control are managed correctly.
(Stock location maintenance, negative stock, gap scanning and review, general stock maintenance, price updating and control.)Working with instore POS, promotional ticketing, and resources, to ensure compliance with Mitre 10 promotional initiatives.Ensure product is accurately tracked and replenished in-store.
Investigating any stock discrepanciesAssist with the implementation of stock takes and stock take proceduresEnsure legal obligations are met by ensuring sufficient stock on hand at the beginning of advertised promotions.Do you have?
