With a vibrant atmosphere and an unwavering commitment to our values—positivity, respect, responsibility, and above and beyond—we're passionate about creating a team full of outstanding individuals who are as passionate about shaping the future as we are.Our friendly Processing team, within Financial Services are seeking a Processing Officer.The hours of work for this position are 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.Key responsibilities for this role include:Process invoices and credit notes accurately and efficiently, following best practice Procure to pay processes.Check Accounts and departmental coding structures correctly, providing guidance to internal and external stakeholders including our suppliers.Assist with creditor statement reconciliations and implementation of new accounts payable processes.Maintain accurate Debtor Master files, adhering to appropriate separation of duties.Meet deadlines efficiently, communicating proactively when adjustments are necessary.Collaborate across all Processing team functions, providing flexible support and expertise as needed.By being a self-starter and adapting to changing priorities, contributing to both their own growth and the overall success of the team and Council.What you will bring:NCEA or equivalent to level 2 with passes in English, Mathematics and Computing1-3 years' experience in Accounts Receivable/Payables and/or financial administration functionDemonstrated strong computer skills, especially accounting software and Microsoft OfficeDemonstrate a commitment to understanding and meeting customer service needsDemonstrated attention to detail and high level of accuracy in capturing informationWhat we offer:Career progression and training/development opportunitiesPositive focus of employee health and well-being: Workstation assessments, free flu vaccines, EAP services, 50% off eye exams, discounted gym memberships etcKiwisaver and Superannuation SchemesAccess to sick leave from day one of employmentAppointment time leave: Up to 2 hours for important appointments eg.
