Short Intro and About the Job

The Process Lead is responsible for the equipment improvement, standardization, technical training, and problem solving.

The role of the Process Lead is to eliminate process losses on equipment or areas and drive standards and problem solving.

You will:

  • Support the Line Leader, through leading operator trainings and identifying skill needs to continuously improve the team.

  • Design, implement and maintain systems to collect and analyze data for critical product and process parameters.

  • Use this data to identify process losses.

  • Work with line management to prioritize improvement opportunities.

  • Eliminate or reduce (prioritized) losses through making process or work system changes.

  • Use Reliability Engineering tools to drive center-lining and loss elimination.

  • Standardize equipment and work processes.

    Support the change management system for a designated process.

  • Update process control strategies and operating procedures as changes occur.

  • Communicate effectively with all the teams to ensure they are aware of improvement programs ahead.

  • Work closely with the Quality team on follow-up and close-out of incident reports where further information or investigation is required.

  • Train the team on quality hazards in the factory and oPRP/CCP procedures, including final sign-off/endorsement.

  • About You

    You have Dairy or food manufacturing industry experience with demonstration of technical aptitude and leadership capability!

    To be successful, you will also have:

  • Team Management experience.

  • Fundamental skills in influencing and persuasion.

  • Strong interpersonal skills associated with developing trusting relationships.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to identify problems, draw conclusions, and make recommended solutions

  • Ability to adjust schedule to support 24/7 Manufacturing Operation, may include working overtime, afternoon, and night shift and/or weekends as needed.
