**JOB DUTIES:**



+ Scope and plan complex technical projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

+ Design and develop high quality products which are commercially successful.

+ Write clean, testable, maintainable, and efficient code - expect to spend 70–80% of your time coding.

+ Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers across teams.

+ Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes and tooling.

+ Collaborate with product and design teams to align technical solutions with business goals.

+ Act as the primary technical owner and subject matter expert for a core product or platform area.

+ Help ensure the health and safety of all our people and all parties, at all times.



**YOU MUST HAVE:**



+ 5+ years of software development experience

+ Extensive programming background with 3+ years of object-oriented programming experience using C/C++ Embedded product development experience

+ Experience with an embedded build system, either Buildroot or Yocto

+ Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

+ Understanding and interest in electronics and hardware

+ Continuous integration tools (Jenkins, Github Actions) experience

+ Unit testing and automated testing tools experience

+ Understanding past failures with building ideal software and product architecture and sharing lessons learned
