We are looking for a professional and motivated Principal Analyst to join our National Service Delivery team, where your expertise in data, research, and strategic thinking will directly influence how justice services are delivered and improved.

You will likely have:
* advanced technical skills in one or more of the following: quantitative analysis and modelling, evaluation, business analysis and process improvement, data engineering, or data visualisation
* proven experience leading complex analytical programmes and mentoring analysts to build capability
* strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling insights for senior stakeholders and Ministers
* experience using SAS, R, or equivalent statistical software to deliver robust, evidence-based advice
* a collaborative mindset and ability to engage across diverse teams and justice sector agencies
You will need to be able to manage your time well and deal with competing deadlines and at times, rapidly changing priorities.
A positive can-do attitude is important, and you will be willing to do what it takes to get the job done.

Utu ā-tau/SalaryThe appointing salary for this role will be between $129,129 and $167,062 based on skills and experience.
