Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
Te Whatu Ora negotiates over 15 collective agreements every year, ranging from 40,000 people to less than 20, and from $3.4 billion to $1m.
The Principal Analyst ER is the key person who informs the bargaining team on the financial implications of any changes to the Collective Agreements.
You'll work closely with a team of highly experienced negotiators, and be part of the strategic discussions about how Te Whatu Ora can best support all the health workforces.
You'll also take the lead on managing and curating our unique datasets of terms and conditions for staff employed by Te Whatu Ora.
From these data sets you will build detailed costing models to reflect the offers being made to the unions to settle the collective agreements and provide advice.
This role is open to current Te Whatu Ora employees only.
Mōu | About you
You will have expert financial modelling skills in Excel, and extensive experience in analysing workforce data in health or a similar sector.
Your ability to support high-level, high-value negotiations is demonstrated in your confidence in working with senior decision makers and presenting complex financial data to a wide range of audiences.
Ideally you will bring a good knowledge of Collective Agreements and how they determine workforce costs.
